What is this document?

Azienda Agricola Ricci Curbastro is committed to safeguarding the privacy of its customers and wants you to know how we collect, use, share and store the data concerning you and the choices available to you when requesting our products or services.

In this Privacy Policy we describe the way in which Azienda Agricola G. Ricci Curbastro e Figli S.S. (in short Ricci Curbastro) in its capacity as Data Controller collects, uses, shares and stores your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/79 of 27 April 2016.

Source of personal data

This privacy statement describes how Ricci Curbastro collects, uses, shares and stores your personal data. Personal data may differ depending on the product or service you have requested or used.

We collect personal data referred to you as follows:

  • from the request form or purchase of services and products;
  • from the commission copies of your product orders
  • by you through the way you communicate with us (e.g. telephone numbers provided during service calls).

Purpose of the treatment

We use your personal data for:

  1. where necessary for the execution of a contract or the fulfilment of a legal obligation (e.g. to provide the data of the guests staying at the Ricci Curbastro Farmhouse at the Questura);
  2. for our legitimate interests such as exercising and protecting our legal rights, preventing fraud or improving our products and services;
  3. where we have obtained your consent for marketing purposes, offers, event information and new products.

In particular we use your data for the following purposes listed as an example and not exhaustive:

  • process the requests of our products, which involves taking decisions about your orders;
  • communicate with you by SMS, telephone, e-mail or other authorized methods regarding the products and services requested;
  • answer your questions and requests;
  • advertise and market, where we have obtained your consent, products and services of Ricci Curbastro and the Rontana and Fortunato family farms;
  • help us understand if you are interested in new products and services;
  • allow you to express your opinion by evaluating our products and services.

Data Communication

We do not communicate your personal data to anyone, except in the cases described below. We may communicate your data only with your consent or as required by the laws or the contract, for example:

  • Credit Information Systems to report or request information concerning your financial situation;
  • Regulatory Authorities, courts, government agencies in order to comply with regulatory, legal or regulatory requirements and requests by the Authorities themselves or by law enforcement agencies;
  • to debt collection agencies and external legal consultants to collect your debts;
  • to our Service Providers who provide services on our behalf (e.g. hauliers);

We use organizational, administrative, technical and physical security measures to safeguard your data. We ask our Service Providers to safeguard your data and use it only for the specified purposes.

Data retention

We will retain your data only for the time necessary to provide the requested products and services, unless we are required to store them for longer periods as a result of laws, regulations or if necessary for the resolution of legal disputes and investigations.

Your data will be kept for 10 years from the supply of the product or service and if your data are no longer needed, Ricci Curbastro will take reasonable steps to destroy such data in a safe way making them permanently unidentifiable.

You can always verify that your data is accurate and up-to-date. You may request to correct, update or remove this data.
